This publication started as a research project in Design Academy Eindhoven. We felt the lack of understanding the internet, even amongst curious peers. However, we are adamant that this should be common knowledge, and are sure that 1 an architectural understanding of the internet is key to further grasp current technological advancements and 2 to unlock collective thought processes of alternative digital tools & networks of cooperation. We wish this to open hopeful prospects for individuals, citizens and local communities.
